Christian Country
Singer, Gayla Earlene has record a song adapted from a
poem ( "Let
Me Love You Through Eternity") written by Claudette L.
Kiely.
Gayla
was raised in the small town of Inola, OK. As an only
child she had a very close relationship with her parents
who provided a Christian home. At the age of 11, she
accepted Christ as her personal Savior.
Gayla met
her
husband, Gene while in the music business and they
have spent their years together in both country and
inspirational. While in country music, they performed
alongside many known personalities such as, Roy Clark,
Freddy Fender, Minnie Pearl, Johnny Russell, Billy Parker,
Hank Thompson, Mel Tillis, and many others. While in the
inspirational industry they have performed with the likes
of Colin Raye, Connie Smith, Jack Greene, Linda Davis,
Freddie Hart, John Berry, Crystal Gayle, Marty Raybon and
others.
Gayla has recorded a number of
albums with husband Gene as the producer and steel
guitarist. Gayla's cousin and friend, the late Randy
Hardison, co-produced and was the drummer on her first six
albums.
Gayla's recordings have produced
numerous #1 songs on the Christian Country charts and she
says that only through the blessings of God has this been
made possible. Gayla's goal is to bring Christian Country
music to the place where it is woven into the fabric of
Country music. It has a very positive, important message
that needs to be shared to a lost and dying world. Hear

The Siamese Silver Pendant - Saga Books, May ‘09 This book, the first of a trilogy,
is about young, passionate, and forbidden love that cross the threshold of time into
eternity; the saga of youth and the sojourn of elders.
“The story unfolds in a small, fictitious New Hampshire town in 1955, when two
young women, one on college break, step beyond the parameters of acceptable
behavior and breeding to pick up two sailors new to their town. Little did they
realize the life-altering decision they had made until the protagonist falls in
love and faces the implications of commitment. Their story, as told by the elder
protagonist, Clarisse, captures their youth as she had recorded it in her battered
and dated malachite green journal 35 years previous.
Against the tapestry of experience from which she reflects upon the youthful
scenarios that may have changed her life’s course, she has the benefit of wisdom
to embrace her totality even with the unanswered questions about their
meeting.”
I just
finished The Siamese Silver Pendant... I really
enjoyed the book... I kept thinking of "how"
you did this ... It just moved along, which I really
liked, and at the same time you seemed to know
when to spend time in appropriate areas. I also liked
that she made her own choice about her life... She
didn't do the "hostage" thing! And, she made
the best of it. Very nice ending. Was hoping it wasn't
predictable. It wasn't! So, thank you so much. Looking
forward to the next one!

The Siamese Silver Pendant is a wonderful book, cannot wait for the other.
Also, Thank You again for our early Christmas book. What an interesting author.
I am getting the feeling, yourself and Richard Paul Evans both have some common
grounds. In the way of spiritual auras... You are very blessed and so are the
people around you to share your inner thoughts. Hope you are well. I think
of you often.

The Siamese Silver Pendant was very well written....I loved the characters of Clarisse
and Guy... As the book goes on the characters grow as people and begin to have a new
life of their own... I loved the flash backs as Clarisse relives her life in her mind and she lets
you go along for the ride... She is a wonderful character and I hope in the next chapter of
her life we can enjoy her company again...can't wait to read the next book....

The Siamese
Pendent was enticing and lovely. It makes you feel like you’re on an emotional
rollercoaster.The
book just breaths life and emotion. For me, as a teenager,
I felt at the
beginning that this wouldn’t be a book I
would read but once I started I couldn’t stop. This book is like a pendent; it looks lovely on
the outside but has so much story and history
behind it.
I can’t
wait till the next one!!

Just a short note to tell you that I enjoyed reading The Siamese Silver Pendant. In
many ways it paralleled my own life. I am originally from Boston, but have spent
most of my life in Connecticut. I have four Children and have been a widow for ten years...
I seem to be intertwining my thoughts between the book and my "real life".
I did identify with many of your interests... I am looking forward to the sequel...

I finished
reading your book last night and want to tell you that I
enjoyed the read! What I especially liked was your use
of descriptive content, and
wonderful feel of nostalgia -- going back in time...
Best wishes to you on your next book, which I am sure
will be just as interesting as your first. It's quite an
accomplishment to write a wonderful book such as yours.
Always,

An amazing, heartwarming read. The story is tender, sincere and very
well written. I will be buying the sequel. If you enjoy romance novels,
this is a definite choice...

...Claudette.
I received 'The Siamese Silver Pendant' Monday
afternoon and started to read it that evening. I
finished it Thursday morning! I loved it. I could tell
that you dug down deep into your soul for this first
venture of yours.
...I gave the book to my
daughter-in-law Jen and told her about you and that I
wanted her to read it . ...I'll give you her feed back
when she finishes. I'm so excited for you.

I can't tell you how happy I am for your accomplishments, not only for completing
'The Siamese Silver Pendant' and having it published but also for the fine
website you've developed. Only someone who has gone through the same
process can truly appreciate the time and effort and commitment necessary to
have achieved what you have.
Congratulations once again, and my very best wishes for much success with
the promotion of your book and website.

Let
me start by saying categorically that I have never
ever read a romance novel. Yes, I do like to read,
but romance novels have never been on my action genre
radar.
I
suspect however, many if not all who do read romance
novels are women.
Well until now… As any good son
would do, I had the opportunity to read my mother’s
final draft of the 'The Siamese Silver Pendant'. I found it
to be a meticulously detailed story, one that I for one
could not put down. I am also thankful (because my
mother wrote it) that there was no explicit sensuality
(*wink*). Kissing and touching yes, but the physical
romance is described in general terms or simply implied.
Who would have known that my mother is a master
storyteller. I can’t wait to read the sequels)...
